Big Girl "Dino" left us yesterday morning. It's sad but these things happen one day. She was an old lady, allthough she was in perfect condition lately. Franck - the owner of the lake - will burry her so everybody can pay her tribute. Known by carp anglers all over Europe, she will leave fantastic memories for those who had the chance to land her.
Etang 5 doesn't have one big fish and after that it's over... There are 6-7 x 70's and 2 80's swimming here. The "Big Male, Scarface and others will be caught soon.
We'll never forget Dino, but we're absolutely sure that her daughters will beat her weight sooner or later ;-)
Fishing has been slow the last couple of weeks at Etang 5 due to the draught and the high temperatures. But there's thunderstorm coming, lots of rain and the temperature will drop by 20°C! This will push the carp to start feeding again...
