Had a great time caught some lovely carp fishing was quite hard probably due to weather was very hot. Had lots of 30ies but unfortunately did not manage any of the big girls this time. My sixth visit to lac de Grosley
"Weed management"
No weed 4 years ago now it needs to be managed and reduced, danger of fish being tethered in the weeds. Brought in a number of previous fishermans lines etc.
Our sixth time here and another great session. Médéric, the bailiff, was first class as usual. We had Mirror Carp to just over 50lb and a Diamond Back Sturgeon of 83lb which took 1 hour 20 minutes to land late at night. We were helped by Médéric who also took the pictures. Thanks again to all the team at Fisherman Holidays and especially Médéric.
The weed in the lakes has created a problem in fishing and leads must be dropped every time as we experienced fish losses due to this.
