The carp fishing season at Etang 5 is picking up slowly now. The early weeks were quite slow also due to the extremely low water temperatures. But last week the great weather changed this situation.
Steve Briggs fished in swim 1 last week and the first part of the week was pretty slow. Towards the end of the week the anglers started catching fish and Steve even managed to catch a 55lb mirror.
"We really enjoyed our week at Etang5 it was much nicer than I’d even hoped for!!! A lovely lake, well kept and lots of space and room for the anglers, which I really liked!!
Yes leaving too early is the story of my life 😆 we had watched the fish mainly showing further up the lake most of the week and in the last 24 hours they started to come much closer and in the bay to our left. But I was very happy with the fish I had and especially with the 25kg - but all the fish were really nice!! I will send you some pictures." Steve Briggs
