How much bait do I need to bring to France?
The amount of bait you'll need for your carp fishing holidays is a difficult question. Every carp angler has its own answer because every angler has a different approach. A lot depends on the space available in your car, but as a rule, most anglers over do it on the bait front.
Some anglers say a good rule of thumb is to bring 4-5kg per day, per rod (this is including all the bait).
Others claim that for a weeks fishing, if particles and or pellets are allowed, you could bring for early spring (march, early april): 10kg boilies, 25kg pellets, 20-30kg particles. When it gets warmer, you can use 15kg boilies, 25-30kg pellets and 20-30kg of particles.
