Carp Fishing at Natura Runs Lake
Trosly-Breuil, Northern FranceLake Description
Natura Runs Lake is an excellent 10 acre (4 hectares) carp fishing venue with around 350 carp. Just over two hours from Calais carp anglers may expect loads of runs. Although the average fish are smaller than on Natura Carpe, the runs lake hold carp up to 65 lb.
Natura Runs Lake
The lake’s depths range from 2 meters to 3,5 meters (6 to 11 feet), offering diverse spots ideal for all seasons, with shallow sections that thrive in warmer months and deeper areas that continue to yield impressive catches even as temperatures cool. Natura Runs Lake is largely obstacle-free, but anglers will find a few natural challenges near the margins where overhanging trees and the occasional snag create a unique fishing experience.
In the hotter months, weed formation is prominent, developing in distinct patches around the lake. This mix of weedy zones and open, clearer areas provides the perfect environment to find the lake’s impressive carp.
Surrounded by the tranquil beauty of Northern France, Natura Runs Lake is more than a fishing venue—it’s a destination that combines remarkable carp stock with natural allure, providing anglers with the perfect escape and the potential for an unforgettable catch.
The Fish Stock
Natura Runs Lake has an original - largely unknown - carp stock of around 350 fish. The average weight is lower that the one of Natura Carpe. There's a big head of 15lb to 25lb carp and many 30's and 40's too. The lake record is a 65lb (30,5kg) mirror.
The venue also has a healthy pike stock, there are perch and other fish species such as eel, bream, tench and rudd. There is no poisson chat. The freshwater crayfish found on Natura Runs Lake is the small ‘American’ variety which is not disruptive to carp fishing.
The Swims at Natura Runs Lake
The lake can only be booked on lake exclusive basis. There are 8 swims in total. It's a mix of single and double swims. One swim is large enough to hold 6 anglers.
In the eastern corner of the lake, there's a small island which also features a double swim.
Service
Close to swim 5 (on Natura Carpe), there is a bathroom with WC. For the time being, there is no shower. Between the chalet and swim 13 is a sanitary block with WC and shower.
Next to the sanitary facilities and the chalet, there is also a small tackle shop with some bait (boilies, pellets, particles, dips...) and some small equipment (hooks, weights, rigs...).
