We booked swim 2, me my son and my wife. She spoiled us every day with her cooking.
After all the paperwork, we went to our swim and could start to put our rods out.
The left ones we put them almost to the bank towards swim 1, and the right ones we put them straight to the bank leaving them at +- 5 meter from the bank.
It was very hot during the day but very cold at night, around 5 degrees.
We managed to land 25 carp, so we are happy. Most of the runs were during the night or early morning.
All of the carp looked absolutely stunning! It was nice to see that quality of carp!
The biggest one was a grass carp, at 46 pounds.
I fished with the snowman and my son boilie with tigernut together on the hair
Chod and standard rig works fine.
We did just a little feeding, no more than 1kg per rod.
A mix of crushed boilie, tigernuts, hemp and chickpeas.
Around 14h, we put the lines in till the next day. To preserve the tranquility on the spot, we did not put the rod back after a run. The other rods are close to each other so still 2 changes to catch another nice carp.
Big thanks to Fisherman Holidays and Franck.
See each other soon at Brocard! Looking forward!
Cheers
