If you are looking for a serious water that contains a large average size of carp in astonishing natural surroundings, then Ruffaud could be the lake for you… Fisherman Holidays would like to present you this great 60 acre lake in Southern France with a fantastic stock of at least 350 healthy carp up to 70lb.
Situated in the small village of Saint-Priest-de-Gimel in the department of Corrèze (Central France), the carp venue Ruffaud has a total area of 150 acres. The lake itself is around 62 acres and is nestled in dens pine tree woods mixed with oak, beech and other deciduous trees. Ruffaud is the second venue ran by the succesful Iktus management which will guarantee good service and of course... BIG fish!
The lake features 12 swims with a big variaty: grassy swims with wooden pontoon, island swims, floating isolated platforms...
Ruffaud has a healthy stock of strong carp. A large part of its stock consists of wild carp that have never been caught before. Before opening the venue to the public the lake will be restocked with an extra 235 commons and mirrors. At least 3 fish should be well over 30kg.
At the entrance there's an on site bar/restaurant, the reception with a small tackle shop and good facilities.
